How do I install the New ľ«¶«´«Ă˝ app?

I have a subscription that includes app access. How do I log in to the app?
To log in, tap the account icon in your app and then “Sign in”. Enter the email address and password associated with your New ľ«¶«´«Ă˝Â account to access your subscription.
If you have purchased a subscription through the Google Play Store, you don’t need to log in.
I am logged in, but the app isn’t recognising my subscription.
Please ensure you have activated your email here, and then generate a password by following the link in the email that you will receive. These details can then be used to log in to the app.
I have forgotten my password. How do I reset it?

I subscribe to the print edition. Can I use this app for free?
If you have a print-only subscription, you will not be able to access this app for free. You can upgrade your subscription to include app access by contacting our subscriptions team by phone or email.
How do I cancel my subscription?
In the event you wish to cancel your subscription, you may do so by contacting our subscriptions team by phone or email.
Alternatively, you can log in to , click “Need help” and then “Cancellation request”.
How do I download issues?
If you are a subscriber with app access, make sure you are logged in to the app first. Then, to download an issue, click on the “Magazine” tab on the bottom ribbon of your screen. Then, click on the cloud icon and wait for the download to start. It will have a tick icon when it has been successfully downloaded.
If you aren’t a subscriber, you can buy a single issue when prompted.
Can I read New ľ«¶«´«Ă˝ when I am not connected to the internet?
In the first instance, you will need a connection to download new issues onto your phone. Once you have downloaded an issue, it will be available for you to read or listen to offline.
Why can’t I download the latest issue?
It may be that your device isn’t connected to the internet. Check that Wi-Fi is enabled and that your device isn’t in airplane mode before downloading. Alternatively, it may be that your subscription has ended, in which case you will need to purchase the issue as an individual copy or re-subscribe to New ľ«¶«´«Ă˝.
Can I keep copies of New ľ«¶«´«Ă˝ on my tablet or mobile?
Yes. When using the app, downloaded issues of New ľ«¶«´«Ă˝Â will be stored on your device, which you can access while you have a subscription. Any downloaded issues are tied to the device and cannot be transferred to another device.
How do I delete issues from my device?
If you wish to remove issues from your device, click on the ticked cloud icon next to an issue and then tap again on the bin icon.
How do I find the articles I want to read?
When you open an issue from the issue library, you will see a table of contents. Tap on a section heading (e.g. News, Features, Views) to browse the articles in that section, or tap on a headline to go straight to the article.
How do I search for a particular topic or article?
To locate the search function, go to your account within the app, where you will see “Search”. Click on this and type the word or phrase you are searching for.
Can I change the text size and brightness of the articles?
Yes. Within “Settings” you will find a tools section where you can change the font size and enable night mode.
Can I save articles to read later?
Yes. You can save articles to read later via the bookmark icon. Once downloaded, you can go to “More” to access all of your bookmarked articles in one place.
Can I share articles with my friends?
Yes. You can share articles via the share icon. Please note that those you share articles with must be subscribers to read them in full.
How can I access the audio feature?
Open an article displaying the audio icon and click “Listen to this article”. This will add the article to your queue.
To listen to the whole issue, under “Magazine” select “Listen to this issue”, and this will add the issue to your queue.
How can I display the audio queue?
Click on the title of the article on the audio ribbon. You can then manage the audio queue, including deleting and reordering items.
How do you download articles to listen to offline?
Curate a playlist using the queue and then click the download icon.
How can I close the audio feature?
When you are finished listening, slide left on the audio ribbon at the bottom and click on the X.
