Worried about the health effects of mobile phones? You may have to wait for a
definitive answer, says the US General Accounting Office. Although no studies
have proved that radio-frequency signals from mobile phones cause cancer or
other ailments, some have raised questions worth investigating. But a new GAO
report warns that “it will likely be many more years before a definitive
conclusion can be reached.” The GAO criticised the Federal Communications
