HOW will the Australian landmass change over the next 200 million years? How
has it evolved over the past 600 million years? The answers are displayed in
animated and graphic form in a pack containing two CD-ROMs called The
Geology of Australia. Other entries include a description of the 80 major
blocks and basins across Australia, a database of 3500 earthquakes in and around
Australia since 1900, geological and topographical maps, and a database of more
than 250 minerals. The CD-ROMs have been developed by CD Solutions in Sydney
from information supplied by such groups as the Australian Geological Survey
Organisation. It is available for $125 from CD Solutions, 5th Floor, 225
Miller Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060, phone (02) 9955 9558.
