If you were tempted by the reviews of Our Molecular Nature (10 August, p 41)
and The Book of Numbers (14 September, p 47), both published by Springer-Verlag,
and then tried to buy either book in Britain you will have been disappointed.
Erudite thieves made off with an entire shipment of Our Molecular Nature, and
the arrival of The Book of Numbers has been delayed. Both titles should be
available this month.
