The late Edna Lumb’s paintings go on show at the Consort Gallery, Imperial College, London SW7, this week until the 3 December. It includes some of her rarely seen industrial landscapes in oils, sights that have now vanished. The pictures are far sale in aid of an annual Edna Lumb Travel Prize for painters at her old art school in Leeds. Expect to be surprised by the scale of the paintings – and to enjoy yourself.
