An interstellar rock may have hit Earth in 2014 but nobody noticed

鈥極umuamua the 鈥渋nterstellar asteroid鈥 may not have been the first interstellar rock we鈥檝e ever seen. A meteor that burned up in Earth鈥檚 atmosphere in 2014 may have come from a distant planetary system – and if it did, it was probably from the area around the system’s star where life would be most likely to develop.
